What came first—the fruit or the color?
The warmth and joy of the color
Or
The citrusy sweetness of the fruit
Spontaneity and stimulation
Encouragement and upliftment
A gift given freely, with youthful energy
Yet, impatience and domination take over
Squeezing the orange is hard
Until the giver becomes a sucked orange
Left with bitter pulp
Dry and devoid of the dripping juice
Catching the flames of fury
That could burn everything to the ground
