A jarring shift
From security to uncertainty
When protection and support
Trust and peace
Slip into passivity
Pale and powdery, devoid of color
Fragile and silent
Just a line away from empathy
From calm to the storm
From a blue moon to the azure ocean
When boundaries blur
Between confidence and cowardice
