Blending the violet and blue
Born with a history so heartbreaking
A plant, a case of hope and despair
Indigo symbolizes intuition and insight
Introspection and contemplation
Ruling the charts by adorning logos
But not without drama
As none can wash away
The dark stains caused by the king of dyes
